SDS successfully drilled, cased and suspended its first cotton valley well in Harrison Co., TX. The 15,800’ well was completed in 8-3/4” hole with 5-1/2” casing.

SDS successfully drilled, cased and suspended a 4 well pad in Martin Co. 2 HZ wells will be completed in the Wolfcamp and 2 in the Sprayberry. All 4 wells were 2 mile laterals.

SDS Project Management Drills and Completes Martin Co., TX Ellenburger SWD for Major West Texas Operator

SDS successfully drilled and completed a 13,000’ Ellenburger disposal well in Martin Co., TX. The 3 string design with an open hole Ellenburger completion was a success. The completion included a 5-1/2” injection string. This is SDS’s 4^th Martin Co Ellenburger well to complete on full project management.

SDS successfully drilled and completed a 13,700’ Ellenburger disposal well in Midland Co., TX. The 3 string design with an open hole Ellenburger completion was a success. The completion included a 5-1/2” injection string.

SDS Project Management Successfully Drills Smackover Brine Supply Well in Columbia Co., AK

SDS successfully drilled, cased, and suspended it’s 3rd Smackover brine supply well in Columbia Co., AK. The well was an extended reach well at with a 65° tangent through the under-pressured Smackover. The 12,700’ MD well was completed in 22 days.

SDS Successfully Drilled, Cased and Suspended Brine Well Near Magnolia, AR

The well design included a 70-degree tangent through the Smackover formation, and the well was drilled to a total depth of 11,598’ with a Patterson 591.

26 days from spud to rig release, shattering the previous in-field record of 33 days.

SDS Project Management Team drills and completes San Andres SWD in Dawson Co., TX. SDS successfully drilled and completed a 5800’ San Andres disposal well in Dawson Co., Tx.

The well took 12 days to drill, case and complete.
Operations were completed ahead of the plan and under budget.

SDS Successfully Drills 14,000’ Well in Martin Co., TX

SDS successfully drilled, cased and completed its second of three Ellenburger SWD wells in Martin Co., TX.

The well design included:

Intermediate casing set through San Andres and encountered H2S while drilling into injection zone. Drilling liner set into top of Ellenburger while experiencing multiple lost circulation zones throughout the interval. Ellenburger was successfully drilled and logged without incident.

SDS has 3 operators committed to drilling 13 wells between Scurry and Martin Counties. Also on the books is a potential second rig line in Martin Co. with 4 to 8 wells to drill.

SDS successfully drilled, cased and suspended its 4th Strawn horizontal well in Scurry Co., TX in 2021.

The 15,086’ well was drilled in 22 days.
Operations were completed ahead of the plan and under budget.

SDS Drills Viola Horizontal Well in Kansas

SDS successfully drilled, cased and suspended a 5905’ Viola horizontal well in Stafford Co., KS.

The well took 8 days to drill, case and suspend.
It’s one of the first successful horizontal wells drilled in the Viola.
Operations were completed ahead of the plan and under budget.
